2020 Shelter Service Supports the International Institute of Wisconsin

For the past several years, Heritage Presbyterian Church has gone out to lead worship at other congregations to raise awareness and funds for our mission partners. Our 2020 focus is on refugees and our partner is the International Institute of Wisconsin, dedicated to the promotion of multi-ethnic perspectives as well as immigration and naturalization services.

The International Institute facilitates services and programs for immigrants, refugees, and the community to assist with cooperation and integration into society. The Institute’s goal is to help individuals and families obtain self-sufficiency and promote multi-cultural understanding throughout the community. From Immigration and Social Services to Refugee Resettlement, the International Institute provides educational and social opportunities for new Americans.

All funds we raise from the Shelter Service will support the IWW.

Heritage's Shelter Service is a full worship service from beginning to end. It includes communion and a special offering for the IWW. The choir of the host church is invited to sing with us.

These special services are a way for us to highlight our mission partners by sharing our gifts of music and drama and is part of our new emphasis on community outreach.
